Description

A perennial herb with a compact, bushy habit. Its ornamental value lies in its racemose inflorescences borne on slender, erect stems, which are particularly favoured by pollinating insects such as bees; their colours, ranging from dark pink to purplish-blue, will add elegance to flowerbeds, balconies and terraces in planters and pots from late spring to early autumn.
Highly cold-hardy, it loses its above-ground foliage during the winter before sprouting anew the following spring.
