Description

Rhizomatous evergreen perennial plant with an erect habit, the verticality of which is conferred by the stems bearing glossy, thick, waxy-looking leaves that confer high ornamental value. Used as an indoor species, it is very easy to grow and is resistant to drought. Slow growing, it makes two vegetations per year where it develops new leaves, which are completed in about 3 months.

Flowering, which occurs under certain environmental conditions and in the adult plant, takes place in spring-early summer, displaying an inflorescence formed by a peduncle and a spatice.
